The Sri Lankans batted solidly, and seven reached 29 or more; 88 came from the last ten overs. Kent were never on terms after losing two for 17, and their last six fell for 46. Kumar Sangakkara started as wicketkeeper, but Dinesh Chandimal took over in mid-innings and stumped Adam Ball for 26.
