2 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy titles won by Baroda and Gujarat each in the last four seasons. Their victories have come in an alternating pattern - Baroda were champions in 2011-12 and 2013-14, while Gujarat won in 2012-13 and 2014-15.
3 Instances when Punjab finished as runners-up in the last four seasons. This season, they failed to qualify for the Super League.
369 Most runs scored in an edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, by Avi Barot for Haryana in 2013-14. Parthiv Patel, who is the leading run-scorer in this season with 271 runs, needs 99 runs to go past Barot's record.
1 Swapnil Asnodkar is the only player to hit five fifty-plus scores in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy season; he did this in 2013-14. Parthiv has hit four fifty-plus scores in this season.
19 Sixes hit by Delhi's Nitish Rana in this season, the joint-highest for a season alongside Sagun Kamat (Goa) in 2013-14 and T Suman (Hyderabad) in 2014-15. Rana needs one more six for the record.
14 Wickets taken by Rajasthan's Nathu Singh and Andhra's Cheepurapalli Stephen, the most in this season. Incidentally, neither Rajasthan nor Andhra have qualified for the Super League. The record for most wickets in a season is 21, by Lukman Meriwala for Baroda in 2013-14.
31 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches in which Parthiv Patel has led Gujarat. If he captains the side in their next three Super League games, he will claim the record of most matches as captain in the tournament, surpassing the record of 33 matches held by Saurashtra's Jaydev Shah.
