77 The partnership between Holder and Kemar Roach, the highest ninth-wicket stand for West Indies against Australia at home and their second-highest against any team in a home Test. Lance Gibbs and Desmond Lewis once added 84 runs for the ninth wicket against India in Guyana in 1971.

2 Number of ducks scored by Rajendra Chandrika in this Test. He is the first West Indian opening batsman to score two ducks on Test debut. This has happened to three other openers in all Test cricket - Ken Rutherford (1985), Saeed Anwar (1990) and Dirk Viljoen (1998).
