Stuart Clark has strengthened the New South Wales team, rejoining his state for their matches against Western Australia this week after being released from the Australia ODI squad. Clark will play for the Blues in their Ford Ranger Cup match against the Warriors on Wednesday and in the Pura Cup clash between the two teams starting on Friday.
Clark replaces Matthew Nicholson in the Pura Cup squad, while Mark Cameron, the fast bowler, has also been included in both squads. Cameron, 26, played his one and only game for New South Wales four years ago but has been preferred to Scott Coyte in the limited-overs attack.
Western Australia have made three changes to their FR Cup team, including Aaron Heal and the allrounders Sean Ervine and Darren Wates in their 12-man squad after their loss to South Australia on Saturday ruled them out of the race for the FR Cup final.
Brad Hogg, who is with the Australia squad for their CB Series finals series, has been replaced by Heal while Brett Dorey, who has an infected toe, has been rested as a precaution to ensure he is fit for the Pura Cup contest. Clint Heron was also left out of the 12 that lost to the Redbacks.
