Michael Neser, the Queensland fast bowler, has replaced the injured Ryan Harris in the Kings XI Punjab squad. Harris had returned to Australia last week after being diagnosed with an Achilles tendon injury.
Neser, born in South Africa, moved to Australia at the age of 10. He made his first-class debut for Queensland in 2010. Even though he hasn¹t been a regular in the Queensland side, he has had an impressive stint with Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League.
Chipli joins Delhi Daredevils
Bharat Chipli, the Karnataka batsman, has been signed by Delhi Daredevils as the replacement for the injured batsman Venugopal Rao. Rao injured himself while fielding during the match against Mumbai Indians and returned to the dressing room after being in the field for four overs. Chipli was part of Deccan Chargers the last two seasons.
