Toss Australia opt to bowl vs India
A grinning Mitchell Marsh won another toss and elected to bowl against India as stormy weather in Brisbane threatens to spoil the fifth and final match of the T20I series.
Needing a win to level the series, Australia named an unchanged line-up with Josh Philippe holding his spot in the middle-order. India made one change with Rinku Singh coming for a resting Tilak Varma.
With the T20 World Cup on the horizon, Australia's high-voltage batting-order is under the microscope after being bamboozled by spin in Hobart and the Gold Coast.
Australia might feel relieved playing on a Gabba surface that should have plenty of pace and bounce. Despite the conditions unlikely to be conducive to turn, India have backed the same bowling blueprint and are stacked with spin options as they seek a comprehensive 3-1 series victory.
As is typical this time of year in Brisbane, thunderstorms are forecast in the evening and could impact the contest much like how the series started in Canberra, which resulted in a washout.
