Rawal skips down and goes after it anyway. Not quite to the pitch, meaning she slices it towards long off. Rowe is scrambling initially but then flings herself full-length to snaffle up a sharp chance. 9.3 to GE Plimmer, goes right through her! Renuka angles one full from wide of the crease, Plimmer hacks across the line and gets a thick inside edge back onto the stumps. This one nipped a wee bit off the seam and beat her swing altogether. Plimmer walked across the stump to hack it over midwicket, and was done in by the movement. May have been better off trying to hit straighter.. 51/2 11.3 to SFM Devine, that's a massive, massive strike! Devine completely misses the line of the delivery. The late inward movement proves to be a menace once again. Devine plays all around this nip-backer that beats the inside edge to hit middle-and-leg. 59/3 | ||||||||||

1.3 to SW Bates, goes straight up, and Bates' terrible World Cup continues! Bates was looking skittish. Perhaps a byproduct of her form, perhaps due to the score NZ are chasing. This is shortish outside off and skids on. Bates, having taken a step down the track, does not know what to do at it. Has a swish at it in hope and the ball loops up for Rawal to do the rest at cover point. NZ rocked early yet again!. 1/1 42.6 to JM Kerr, well taken at backward point, and Gaud has another! Back of a length outside off and Kerr thinks this is her opportunity to smuggle another boundary. She gives it the entire lot but fails to keep it down. Arrows it flat towards Mandhana, who moves sharply to her right and then completes the catch at around shoulder height. India nudging closer to victory and to a semi final spot!. 266/7 | ||||||||||

20.5 to AC Kerr, sharp grab at short mid wicket, and Kerr is outta here! Tossed up full outside off. Kerr's eyes light up and she brings out the slog sweep. Cannot quite get under it, though, and she hits it flat towards Mandhana. She gets both of her hands up in time in front of her face and clasps her hands around the ball. Smart work in the field, and that is another body blow to NZ's hopes of chasing this score down, and of making the semi-final!. 115/4 | ||||||||||

Drops on Halliday late, meaning that she has to reach out in front, despite giving Charani the charge. Miscues it off the bottom half of the bat and Rana, stood right on the long on fence, makes no mistake. A bare minimum at the start, a bit trickier through the middle, but India, like they would have wanted prior to a ball being bowled, are now within two games of winning the entire thing! And India have finished it in fitting fashion. Deepti dangles this full on middle and off. Mair winds up, trying to go downtown, but only picks out long on. A much-needed win for India, after everything that had preceded this game, and a victory that has ensured they are now in the semi-final of a tournament they were expected to dominate in!. 271/8 | ||||||||||
