1.6 to Q de Kock, big appeal and not given. But Quinton de Kock is walking , This was a lovely delivery to bowl to someone just finding their hands in this innings. Full, tempting, seaming away just slightly (it was a wobble-seam ball), to take the edge of QdK's drive and come to rest in the keeper's gloves. Mokoena has an important early breakthrough.. 10/1 14.4 to T Stubbs, Nelson has struck. (Not Mandela, no, but the cricket superstition surrounding the British Lord Nelson). This was short, at the body, and Stubbs has nailed a pull into the lap of deep square leg, who only has to move a couple of metres to his left to get his body behind that one. Royals needed that wicket.. 111/4 18.4 to S Muthusamy, slower ball, dug into the pitch, and Muthusamy has dragged that aerially to midwicket, who jogs towards the boundary and gets easily under that. 142/7 18.6 to AF Milne, that's another outstanding catch from Asa Tribe, who takes his third good one today to give young Mokoena a fourth wicket. This is good bowling too, another short ball dug into the pitch, which Milne tried to muscle down the ground. He gets a good chunk of it and Tribe might have over-run it initially, but backpedals and corrects, throwing his hands up to hold the ball in both hands as he tumbles backwards.. 142/8
| 4 | 0 | 36 | 3 | 9.00 | 6 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
5.4 to JM Bairstow, but Baartman stays full and gets his man! Was this a plan to Bairstow? The batters eyes lit up again when he saw a full delivery, but he couldn't get under it this time (it was fuller than the two previous balls), and he ends up toe-ending it to cover, where Tribe takes a good low catch. Third ump checks the catch, but he's got fingers under that.. 45/2 16.6 to M Jansen, early on this shot and Jansen sends it hiiigh into the air. Fielder from long on makes good ground, judges his run nicely, and gets underneath that safely. Jansen's made a bright little contribution though.. 135/5 19.4 to A Nortje, back of a length outside off, Nortje swings for the hills, and gives thin edge that Verreyne accepts with no fuss behind the stumps. SEC are down to their last. 147/9

8.4 to MP Breetzke, simple caught and bowled! They won't get any easier for a seam bowler in his follow through. This is just on the full side of a good length, angled in at the stumps, Breetzke is trying to drive through mid on with a slightly closed face of the bat, but is too early on the shot. Pops it right back up to Potgieter, who clinches it at chest-height.. 59/3
| 4 | 0 | 30 | 1 | 7.50 | 7 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 0 | |
17.3 to J Hermann, tossed up and a big lbw appeal that may have got rid of Hermann! The batter plays a big sweep and falls over slightly, to a straight-ish carrom ball that doesn't take a lot of turn (it's the flight that beats him). He's given out on the field but reviews. Will that miss leg stump? Seems like the thing that is likeliest to save Hermann. He hasn't hit it. Ball tracking shows it would have hit leg stump flush. That's an important dismissal with 15 balls to go.. 137/6

3.1 to AM Tribe, drilled straight to mid off. Asa Tribe spots one in the slot, but then Jansen is so tall that you always have to account for that extra bounce. The ball makes contact too high on the bat, and Tribe can't get power into that. That's straight into Stubbs' lap.. 18/1 3.4 to LG Pretorius, spectacular take behind the stumps from QdK. Wow wow wow! That is as good a keeper's catch as you will ever see. Man was FLY-ING down the legside. This was a bouncer over leg stump, that Pretorius tried to pull. But he could only get a light touch on it, and QdK has to go aerial, both legs off the ground, to intercept this high to his right with the outstretched glove. He knows he's taken a blinder and is mobbed!. 19/2

6.2 to K Verreynne, drags this one on! Nortje pitches full and wide of off, Verreyne goes for a big drive, and the inside edge cannons into off stump. There was a tiny bit of swing, which I think is what Verreyne was playing for. Doesn't move as much as he expects though.. 30/3 6.6 to RA Herman, that's a rip-snorter. It doesn't matter what format you are playing, that's a monster of a delivery. This was a short ball outside off, in the channel, which just reared up viciously off the surface. Hermann punches at it tamely and sends a thin edge to QdK, who himself is surprised by the pace and bounce on this one. Nortje at his best.. 35/4

19.4 to K Lion-Cachet, caught at gully. Surely Royals cannot screw it up from here? This is full, outside off, and KLC carves this to the left of Muthusamy, who falls to his left and takes a sharp catch.. 149/5
