Bowls the good length ball outside the fifth stump line, this time Dawkins stays inside the crease and tries to whisk it down with soft hands to the third man area, plays away from the body and connects the thick outside edge to the first slip fielder. Full and straight bowls a scorching yorker on the stumps, Mayes walks forward a few steps and plays the front foot straight drive, shapes back in a wee bit and misses the line and length there, uproots the middle stump and England lose their best batter of the tournament!. 60/3 48.3 to SHB Morgan, fuller ball on the leg stump line. 35.6 to CM Falconer, "Catch it" is the cry, and Peake grabs a stunner! Bowls a widish length ball turning away outside off, backs away and plays the square cut away from the body, connecting the toe-end of the bat and chipping it to the left of the cover fielder. Peake anticipated the loose shot and dove full-stretch to his left, grabbing the catch with a reverse-cup technique while still in the air.. 195/4 40.3 to RB Albert, fuller, flighted delivery outside the off stump. He looks to slog sweep and missed. Drags his backfoot outside the crease as he is looking to play the shot. Misses and the keeper whips the bails off. Brilliant stumping.. 226/5 | ||||||||||

Full and straight delivery nips back in and bowls an inch-perfect yorker ball right in the block-hole, clears the front leg and tries to dig it out, hits the back leg right in front of the stumps and that looks plumb to me. Short pitched ball around the fifth stump line, tries to get on top of the bounce and plays the pull shot, fails to keep it down, and gets neither the elevation nor power that he would have wanted initially; picks out the short midwicket fielder, Dawkins, and departs.. 47/2 47.3 to OJ Peake, England are throught to the final! Fuller ball outside the off stump. He looks to drive over the point fielder but ends up driving to the point fielder. Wait, the umpires in the middle are going to the third umpire if it was indeed a catch. The doubt is if pitched on impact and not on the legality of the catch. Replays show that he is out. He pulls it to deep square-leg where Moores dives forward and takes a superb catch. 116/4 31.4 to J Draper, Miscues in the air and Dawkins takes a sitter! You can't keep Lumsden away from the game! That took off after pitching. Good bit of keeping there as he collected it clean and took the bails off. 109/3 42.1 to N Cooray, And Albert gets his second scalp! Bowls a harmless length ball pitching well outside off, Cooray stays inside the crease and slashes it flat and hard towards the short cover fielder. Dawkins dived forward, fully stretched, and gobbled it up comfortably. Australia in deep trouble now.. 207/8 | ||||||||||
