Charli Knott scored her third half-century in her last four Metro Bank One-Day Cup women's competition innings as Hampshire beat Warwickshire at Arundel.
Abbey Freeborn had underpinned a Warwickshire recovery from 93 for 6 to set Hampshire 244 with a patient 94 not out. But Knott followed up scores of 58 against Durham and 64 versus Somerset to crash a classy 82, with Georgia Adams picking up 68 to keep Hampshire top of the table heading into the Vitality Blast break.

Kalea Moore and Ryana MacDonald-Gay both hit their maiden half-centuries for Surrey to maintain the county's recent revival in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup women's competition with victory over Essex.
The pair dug Surrey out of trouble at 117 for six, with Moore posting 66 from 70 balls and MacDonald-Gay 57 from 77 in their partnership of 113 from 135.

UAE held their nerve in a last-gasp finish in Sharjah, and eventually completed a famous two-wicket win against Bangladesh in the second T20I.
It was a historic effort from the hosts to win for the first time against Bangladesh, chasing down 206 with a ball to spare. UAE captain Muhammad Waseem's 82 held the innings together, striking nine fours and five sixes from 42 balls.

Occasional seamer Ryan Patel bowled Jonny Bairstow for 77 to claim his first wicket of the season as Surrey quickly completed a crushing Rothesay County Championship victory by an innings and 28 runs after dismissing Yorkshire for 229 at the Kia Oval.
Patel, a 27-year-old batter in his 68th first-class appearance but with just 22 previous wickets to his name, was in his fourth and final over before Surrey took the second new ball when he deceived Bairstow with a nip-backer that defeated an attempted drive and removed off stump.

Fakhar Zaman's 60 off 36 set up the game for Lahore Qalandars, before Salman Mirza's 4 for 31 sealed a rain-reduced 13-over PSL 2025 game in Rawalpindi on Sunday night. Peshawar Zalmi were guilty of overall sloppiness. They dropped at least four catches - including two off Fakhar - and their chase never left the ground, even if some late hitting narrowed the margin.
The loss knocked Zalmi out of the competition, as they finished fifth on the table. For Qalandars, the win confirmed their place in the Eliminator, to be played on Thursday.

Zimbabwe will go into next week's one-off Test against England on the back of a 138-run defeat to an unheralded Professional County Club Select XI after they failed to bat out the final day in Leicester.
Set a target of 392 after the PCC XI declared on 464 for 7 an hour into the final day, Zimbabwe slipped to 51 for 4 shortly after lunch, Hampshire's Eddie Jack knocking over three of the top four. Nick Welch counterpunched, adding 47 with Wessly Madhevere, whose 93 had steered Zimbabwe to a first-innings total of 403, and 70 with Tafadzwa Tsiga, as the tourists reached tea five down.

Glamorgan wrapped up a second consecutive three-day win to propel themselves up the table after an all-round performance to blow away Northamptonshire by eight wickets at Sophia Gardens.
Northants had a respectable day from a troubling 49 for 3 to make Glamorgan bat again in the evening session, preventing the innings result. Saif Zaib's 71 along with gritty knocks of 66 and 56 from Lewis McManus and Luke Procter respectively weren't enough to pile on pressure into a final day.

Gloucestershire called the shots on day three of the Rothesay County Championship Division Two match against Kent at the Seat Unique Stadium to raise the prospect of a first home win in three seasons.
The home side posted 516 to establish a useful first-innings lead of 92 courtesy of hundreds from Cameron Green and James Bracey, who scored 128 and 127 respectively and staged a fifth wicket stand of 222 in 54 overs. Nathan Gilchrist took 3 for 141 and Jake Ball 3 for 132 as Kent fought to stay in the game, but Tom Price hit 76 to give Gloucestershire a potentially crucial advantage.

Gujarat Titans (GT) became only the second team in all T20 cricket to chase down a target of 200 or more without losing a wicket. That's how clinical B Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill were against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday night as they took GT into the playoffs. Sai Sudharsan finished on 108 not out off 61 balls and Gill on 93 not out off 53 as they overhauled DC's 199 for 3 with an over to spare. That meant KL Rahul's 112 not out off 65 balls ended in a losing cause.
The result also took Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) into the playoffs. DC, Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants are the three teams in contention for the remaining one spot.

Lewis Gregory led from the front with a brilliant 89 not out as Somerset completed a five-wicket Rothesay County Championship Division One win over Sussex at the Cooper Associates Ground, Taunton.
Set just 150 to win on a benign pitch, the hosts reached their target in an additional half hour to the scheduled day's play, skipper Gregory taking advantage of his new position as opener to hit 12 fours in a sparkling 118-ball innings.
