Charles J Birch
Charles Birch was a leading player for Toronto CC, and latterly Montreal CC, in the 1830s and 1840s. A middle-order batsman, he appeared in the first four Canada v USA internationals between 1844 and 1846 scoring 42 runs in seven innings, including 29 in the first 1845 game, the same year he made 52 and 29 for Montreal against Montreal Garrison.
