Chris Hansberry was handed a rookie contract for the 2007-08 season with Western Australia courtesy of his allround performances for his club Subiaco-Floreat. A committed cricketer who describes himself as "Confident, emotional, persistent" he has played overseas in England in the off-season for Wembley Cricket Club to further develop his game as a batsman and spinner. He is also a former winner of the Under-19 State Player of the Year title.
