Clive Madande

A hard-hitting middle order batter and wicketkeeper, Clive Madande quickly rose up the ranks in Zimbabwe cricket after making his first-class debut for Matabeleland Tuskers in March 2021 against Mashonaland Eagles. Within the next three weeks, he had made his List A and domestic T20 debut.

In just his second first-class game, Madande scored 56 and followed it up with an unbeaten 117 against Eagles two games later. In January 2022, Madande was named in Zimbabwe's ODI squad for their series against Sri Lanka, but he did not get a game. He was then selected in the Zimbabwe A squad that toured Nepal for three List A games in May 2022. He didn't get a score of note there but was picked for the ODI and T20I series against Afghanistan the following month. He made his T20I debut in the third game of that series before making his ODI debut against Bangladesh two months later.

Madande was also the captain of the Zimbabwe Emerging side which won the gold medal at the 13th African Games in March 2024. In July 2024, he received his maiden call-up for a one-off Test against Ireland and subsequently made his debut.
