Legspinner Digvesh Rathi made heads turn with his stellar show for runners-up South Delhi Superstarz in the inaugural Delhi Premier League in 2024. With a run-up resembling Sunil Narine - he hides the ball behind his back as well - Rathi was Ayush Badoni's trump card and finished fourth in the wicket-takers list with 14 in ten matches. In a high-scoring competition, he had an economy of just 7.83.
Rathi was bought by Lucknow Super Giants in the mega auction before IPL 2025 at his base price of INR 30 lakh. Soon after, he made his T20 debut for Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024, picking up three wickets in the two matches he played.
