An allrounder - right hand medium/fast bowler and right hand middle order batsman - Errol won a CCA scholarship to Australia in 1992 and was most succesful, with most wickets the 1992-3 season in Tasmania 1st grade for North Hobart. He returned in 1993-94 at request of the club and led them to to back to back championships. He represented Canada at the 1993 ICC Trophy, taking 5 wickets at an average of 30, and averaging 21 with the bat. He returned to Barbados in 1994 to continue to work on his cricket, but unfortunately he was injured in a car accident in 1995. He returned to playing after 18 months, but was unable to regian form, and retired in 1999.
