Israel is lucky to have in it's team a leg-spin bowler of real quality. Ronen bowls with the classical leg-spinners action, extracts turn and bounce from almost any surface, but most importantly has a temperament ideally suited for spin bowling. Quiet and laid back off the pitch, he is aggressive and competitive with the ball, but at the same time is patient, remains cool at all times and is keen to learn and always willing to practice hard. Although generally batting lower down the order, he is capable of playing long innings. His fielding has improved drastically through lots of hard work and effort.
