Tamim left out of Bangladesh's squad
Bangladesh will go to the ODI World Cup without arguably the best batter in the country's history, as Tamim Iqbal has been left out of the 15-man squad, seemingly due to his persistent back injury. ESPNcricinfo understands that Tamim had informed the selectors a couple of days ago that they should keep his back injury in mind before selecting the final squad.
The rest of the Bangladesh squad is mostly predictable, with Shakib Al Hasan in charge as captain. Litton Das, his deputy, will have Tanzid Hasan as his opening partner while Najmul Hossain Shanto will be the designated No 3. Shakib, Towhid Hridoy and Mushfiqur Rahim will form the middle-order, while Mahmudullah and Mahedi Hasan are the middle to lower-order batting options. The pace attack includes Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman and Tanzim Hasan.

England have (kind of) named their squad too
England have confirmed that their squad for their upcoming ODIs against New Zealand at home doubles as their provisional 15-man squad for the World Cup. So it shouldn’t change too much. Although Harry Brook remains a big talking point.

KL Rahul included in India's World Cup 15
KL Rahul has been included in India's World Cup squad despite not having played any competitive cricket since May this year. Rahul, the first-choice wicketkeeper, is currently preparing to fly out to Sri Lanka for the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup after passing a fitness assessment at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru on September 4.
Middle-order batter Tilak Varma and fast bowler Prasidh Krishna are the two players from the current squad of 17 in Sri Lanka to have missed out, along with Sanju Samson, who is a reserve player at the Asia Cup.

Williamson to be part of New Zealand squad
Kane Williamson will be included in New Zealand's 15-man ODI World Cup squad, having reached a point in his recovery from a ruptured ACL sustained in last season's IPL that he admitted looked unlikely in the days after the injury.
Williamson is presently with the New Zealand limited-overs squad in England, where he is continuing his rehab. On August 28, New Zealand coach Gary Stead had said that Williamson had two weeks to prove his fitness for the World Cup and he has done enough to make the cut.
