That's it from us tonight. SEC have won two in a row, while PC have lost as many to start the season. That's also two back-to-back bonus points for SEC, who are at the top with ten points. Join us for more SA20 action tomorrow evening, as we bid goodbye from this one. Goodnight!
Dee: "Should have the bonus point system in IPL also."
Quinton de Kock is the Player of the Match: "It was pretty busy, to be honest. Quite nice to be with the crowd, and not against them. Intially, there was a bit. It was a bit slow, so not that easy to score. Breeztke walked in with some intensity, that's for sure. We batted really nicely. We dovetailed really well. Unfortunate we couldn't carry on. It's pretty cool to have that options [of bowling]. They pulled it back really nicely. The wicket got a little bit harder."
Tristan Stubbs: "In this comp, I've lost every first and second game - so I'll take this! The way Quinny and Breeztke batted, they complemented each other. They took the right options. They were very clear. It got a bit tough towards the end. Really positive [at the halfway mark]. We knew we had to bowl well. The boys bowled beautifully. I have somebody who knows the gam really well in Quinton de Kock. There are a lot of senior guys."
Keshav Maharaj: "We couldn't find the consistency and control there. Probably 30 runs too much on a wicket that offered something. Have to go back to the drawing board... We still had the belief that if we got 60 in the powerplay, we could pull it off. You want to try and create some sort of consistency. We're still missing Andre Russell, but no excuses. It's a quick turnaround. Just about clearing the mind, and rectifying mistakes sooner rather than later."
8.52pm You could sense it was SEC's game already the moment PC's score of 97 for 3 became 111 for 6. It was entirely down to Sherfane Rutherford at that stage, and he could have hardly done it all by himself from there. Milne finishes with 4 for 25 for SEC, as he used the bounce and the cutters to great effect. SEC had themselves managed only 20 runs in the last three overs with the bat, but in the end, it turned out to be enough. Keep hanging around to see who the POTM is.
