A nervy thriller after a nervy thriller, SA20 may finally have cracked the code. Chances are there could be a couple more tomorrow. Join us for those, thanks for tagging along this evening. Take care, goodnight.
Lhuan dre Pretorius, POTM: It's just a mindset thing. I was just positive and took the game deep. I sometimes take on boundaries I shouldn't be taking on, gotta be clear. Davey was there to stay calm and rein me in, they said I could make up, which helped. Enjoying it this season. Been a tough couple of months, hope to now carry it on for the team.
David Miller, Paarl Royals captain: It was a terrible start, we trained really hard. We were honest. We have x-factor players and even young ones. I thought we got a great score, great to Lhu in good flow. We got over the line, which we wanted. We're moving nicely together. We've done locally at the auction. Moving away from home, we haven't done well. Good to play in front of passionate fans.
Rashid Khan, MICT captain It was a 170-180 wicket. We didn't close out the powerplay great. We restricted them well in the back ten. We lost too many wickets in the middle overs with the bat. The idea was to go on and play your natural game. We want to give batters freedom. We got stuck after 10th over and went till the 14th. We have three more games in the next four days, we're all matured, we've to take good decisions. Happy to contribute with bat, haven't been hitting them well of late. Would've been happier had we won.
jigar: "Couple of singles denied by Rashin in Mujeeb over and MI lost by 1 run" Not exactly, him farming the strike was more important. That's what got them the two sixes. He could've been out first ball too, that's the gamble.
9pm That could've gone either way. During the powerplay of the chase, MICT were clear favourites thanks to Rickelton and van der Dussen's stand, then in the middle overs Raza and Baartman's multi-wicket overs made Royals clear favourites, then Rashid came on and nearly took MICT home. The final over
