3.3 to HM Amla, gottim, skied into the covers coming down! Moores' mistake is quickly forgotten as Amla attempts something agricultural once again and skews a top edge... he heads off, shaking his head, with a strike rate of 30.0. 18/1

4.5 to WG Jacks, scooped up and this will be taken! Ball's cutter does the trick, Jacks foxed and he's now back in his box, skying a cross-batted shot towards mid-off, where Christian takes it safely running back!. 24/2
14.3 to JJ Roy, full and straight, Roy attempts a glance off his pads - struck in front! Think that pitched on, and David Millns agrees! Impact directly in front of middle stump, that is plumb as you can get. Roy lets rip with a bit of blue, frustrated that he won't be there until the end. 119/5

13.3 to LJ Evans, holes out to deep midwicket! Pace off, looked like a legcutter and Evans couldn't get any power on his swing to leg, sends the ball high but straight to the man back. Forced to hit to the long boundary, Christian pegs Surrey back. 114/3
13.5 to J Overton, takes a screamer behind the stumps! Banged in short, Overton swings hard and gets a thick edge... and Tom Moores throws himself towards the top corner like he's Gordon Banks, takes it one-handed! So no Dre Russ fireworks, rather a golden duck for JOverton. 115/4
15.2 to BT Foakes, slower ball, Foakes swings to leg, picks out the boundary rider! Similar to the Evans dismissal, forcing him to hit to the longest part of the ground, and he sends it straight into Duckett's bread basket at deep midwicket. 122/6
15.6 to LE Plunkett, Christian has another, full and straight, underclubbed to long-on! Plunkett went for broke from the final ball of the innings, but only succeeded in sending it down the gullet of the man back. 127/7

0.1 to AD Hales, banged in short, and "oh no!" is Hales' immediate response! He's only gone and pumped that straight to square leg! Laurie Evans was the only man in the vicinity... and he nearly muffed it! The ball thumped his chest at pace and very nearly popped out! Crumbs!. 0/1
3032210.66510
1.3 to JM Clarke, swept high in the air, and Clarke has holed out to square leg! Clarke has been utterly freaked out by the spin of that first ball. Changed his gameplan immediately, and never got the replacement right. A steepling chance, no power in the stroke though so it's a long chase in from the deep, and a fine sprawling catch to deepen Notts' gloom!. 4/2
3.3 to SR Patel, a second chance for Burns, and he's taken it! What was Patel thinking! He'd already shown he couldn't clear the long leg-side boundary, so he takes it on again with a wild swipe through the line. Burns inhales the chance with some gratitude... and Surrey are in business!. 19/3
302016.66900
8.6 to PD Trego, dead in front, and Moriarty makes the breakthrough! He got the measure of his quarry in that over, tightening the line with every ball and forcing him to move around the crease to create an angle. In the end he got in a tangle on the sweep plumb in front of middle, and that's a vital wicket for Surrey!. 82/4
