Crowd gently appreciative, applause ringing out for both teams

Afghanistan's bowlers made things very diffficult for Nepal initally, only two overs (ironically, Nabi's) going for plenty. 135 was always going to be hard to defend and the light roller used for three minutes in between, along with the sun perhaps, took the life out of the wicket. Nepal in with a chance for a while but once Nabi and Gulbadin got together, the bowlers looked powerless. Gulbadin Naib's Man of the Match. Afghanistan's fourth ACC Twenty20 Cup, they've won all of them. They, Nepal, UAE and Hong Kong take confidence and no little competence with them to the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers in November. Thanks for being with us today and through the event. Presentations are going on, we'll try and speak to the players and get you their views too.

Raees Ahmadzai, who's won this event twice as a player is now the coach, and says" "Our players loved playing in front of such a big crowd, it was a mature performance especially by the young players. Nepal were a good side and can improve if they play against A Teams of the top countries."

Sailesh: "Afghanistan was always going to be a tough team to beat , but full marks to the Nepalese team for showing the fight esp . captain Paras"

The ACC Twenty20 Cup's heading Afghanistan's way for the fourth consecutive time at the moment. Unless Nepal pull something out of the bag. Much still possible!
