An all-round performance by New Zealand A. They started well but lost their way during the middle and end over.

When Australia A came out to bat, Gillespie ripped the heart out of the Australian top order and Patel did the honours with the lower order batsmen. At the end of the day it was a lacklustre performance from the Australian that was a little short on application. They'll have to do better tomorrow.
