and that's it. A rout by 129 runs. Siddle backs away and tries to get his bat on the ball, he ends up outside his crease, Reece continues the good work and stumps him in a flash.
NZ A vs Australia A, at Hyderabad, Sep 15 2008 - Match Result
An all-round performance by New Zealand A. They started well but lost their way during the middle and end over.
When Australia A came out to bat, Gillespie ripped the heart out of the Australian top order and Patel did the honours with the lower order batsmen. At the end of the day it was a lacklustre performance from the Australian that was a little short on application. They'll have to do better tomorrow.

more of the same
in the block-hole, Tait takes a step back towards the leg side and digs it out
attempted bouncer that sails harmlessly through to the keeper Reece
backs away and glides the ball to the deep point area
plays and misses, again
backs away to the leg side, tries to do something with the ball, manages nothing
one more easy single
this time he has the measure of Patel, he hoicks him over the midwicket fence to bring up the 100 for Australia
again, not quite sure what to do with the good length ball, he just pokes at it and lets it run away to the off side
plays this one gingerly to somewhere in the region of gully
97/9, hands up all those who thought Australia were going to find themselves in such a predicament. Somebody is going to pay for this. Watch out India!
flighted, batsman played all over it, another one bites the dust
outside the off stump, flighted, batsman leaves it alone
outside the off stump, batsman flashes, no damage done
on the off stump, slightly short, Siddle goes back a bit and knocks it down to gully
short of length, batsman goes on the back-foot and blocks it down to the onside
again a good ball, just short of length, rising steeply, it's too good for the batsman
wider, outside the off stump again, the batsman fishes, no damage done
only 2 Australian batsmen have managed to get into double figures
outside the off stump, harmless ball, batsman lets it go through to the keeper
