7.4 to SE Marsh, no doubts about that! That was a vicious inswinger screeching towards the pads on a full length, Marsh had to really hurry at the crease to whip it to the on side but he was beaten for pace, the ball strikes the base of the pad and Nehra knows he's got him. 24/1 46.1 to MG Johnson, bowled him, on target again, fuller than good length, straight, and Johnson looks to make room and run it down to third man, he misses it and the middle stump accepts it. 236/7 48.4 to PM Siddle, Nehra gets one more, smart slower ball, Siddle makes room and gets another leading edge, easy catch for Jadeja at cover-point. 247/9

18.1 to SR Watson, the bowling change works! He tosses it up outside off and there's a bit of extra bounce on this one, a half-hearted dab finds the outside edge and Dhoni and gang know it, Watson walks back for a very decent 49. 88/2 42.4 to MC Henriques, poor shot from Henriques, an almighty slog sweep, misses the topspinner by a week, and has dragged his foot outside - Dhoni is quick to disturb the stumps. 217/5

38.1 to MEK Hussey, and the golden arm strikes for MSD, Hussey looks for his favourite heave-pull, but this is perhaps a touch too full, hence he is hurried into the shot and hits it straight to Ishant Sharma at deep midwicket. 196/4 |

6.5 to V Sehwag, soft dismissal in the end, Bollinger wouldn't have expected a wicket with this half volley outside off, Sehwag turned the face of the bat at the point of contact and hence ended up splicing it to Watson who pedaled backwards a few paces at mid-off. Nine times out of 10 Sehwag would have cleared that fielder, not this time. 40/1 14.3 to V Kohli, poor shot, Bollinger angles it outside off and cramps Kohli for a bit if room as he shapes to cut it square on the off side, he ends up getting a tame edge to the keeper. 78/2 31.2 to MS Dhoni, Gone! It was the strangler down the leg side. It bounced outside leg and Dhoni tried to glance it but got a thin feather through to the keeper. And he walked. How vital is this?. 145/5

18.5 to SR Tendulkar, we won't see 17,000 runs today, tosses it up on middle and gets it to turn in, Tendulkar tries to work it with the turn but the ball clips the pads, it wasn't really adjacent to the stumps but umpire de Silva was convinced. Not a very straightforward lbw and I want to see what Hawkeye has to show on that. 94/3 34.2 to SK Raina, bowled him!! Hauritz draws Raina forward with his length, pitches on middle and turns past Raina's timid prod to hit off stump, massive blow and Australia are on their way here. 156/6

42.1 to Harbhajan Singh, caught and bowled! Watson delivers a full ball, Harbhajan tries to hit it straight but is through the shot too early, he hits it to Watson's right and the bowler takes a smart reflex catch, that's the end of Harbhajan feisty challenge. 204/8 44.4 to P Kumar, edged and taken! Praveen is caught on the crease by a short of a length delivery, he gets a thick edge and Manou snaps it up, Praveen angled his bat and it nearly went off the face. 217/9 46.4 to A Nehra, that's the end of the game! Nehra tries to clear the boundary but skies the ball high in the air towards long-on where Hauritz pedals backwards and holds a well-judged catch. 226/10 |
