comes forward and turns it to deep square-leg. They take the couple needed to win the game. Both the batsmen punch the air
Dynamites vs Bulls, 16th Match at Chattogram, Dec 01 2015 - Match Result
Bulls won by 9 wickets (with 8 balls remaining)
At the halfway stage, a lot of us thought that 158 was a good total to defend on this pitch. Mickey Arthur, coach of Dhaka, thought, considering the state of the pitch, that it was a winning total. As much as Lewis played brilliantly, it would be fair to say that the bowlers of Dhaka let their team down and while batting their inability to rotate the strike cost them a few runs.
Barisal Bulls move to the top of the points table after the win and Gayle is yet to play for them
Quotes from the presentation:
Kumar Sangakkara: 158 was pretty good. We should've got a few more runs, a few wickets pegged us back. When someone bats like Lewis, there is little bowlers can do. It's about playing well and executing well. We will pick ourselves and come back tomorrow
Mahmudullah: We know how Lewis bats. He hits the ball for a few sixes in the nets. Rony batted well with him. Bowlers did well and put the pressure on their batsmen. Everything went well for us. I had a chat with Rony on what was expected of him
Evin Lewis is the Man of the match: I went out there and backed myself. I think the pitch was decent. Our slower bowlers did well. Chris Gayle is my idol. It was ideal that Rony took the pressure off me and we had a good partnership.
Thanks from all of us here and please do join us for the games tomorrow. Till then it's good night from all of us here

short ball on the middle stump. Surprise of surprises! Lewis ducks under it!

drives it to cover and sets off for a single. He would've been out if the throw was direct
drives it back to the bowler
good length ball on the off stump. Lewis defends and gets an inside edge back onto the pitch. He seems to be suffering from 'Shaunmarshitis' - a bout of nervousness close to a fifty or hundred
comes forward and drives it to sweeper cover. For some strange reason he thinks there is a couple available. Mehedi shouts 'no', at least 4 times before Lewis stops. If the throw was at the bowler's end it could've been exciting
looks to steer it and is beaten
short ball on the leg stump. Lewis pulls and gets a couple to cross one of the landmarks - Thousand runs in T20 cricket. It came in the 30th game. Good average!

short outside the off stump. Mehedi steers it to short third-man
comes forward and defends it to the off side
short and wide outside the off stump. Lewis moves across and drives it to point. A poor effort by the fielder there allows Lewis a couple. Couple of runs where there were none. Sanga must be an angry man today and the players might be in for a long meeting after the game
comes forward and drives it to sweeper cover for a single
slower ball outside the off stump. Lewis lofts it to long-on for a single. It was a mishit. Lewis is looking tired now
