9:59pm Thunder close their last group game in style, and that should be a top-three spot confirmed unless Hurricanes can win by a massive margin. The win gives Thunder 31 points now and with a vastly superior NRR than anyone below them. A 116-run stand to close it out too, this will feel nice. For Adelaide Strikers, who are on 28 points now, there are three teams who could potentially overtake them in fourth place. In essence, they will have to do a lot of nervous waiting as we head into the final few rounds of the tournament. They struggled early with the bat and just never seemed to be in control of the game. A brute of an opening delivery to get Khawaja was about all that went their way in the defense too. Alex Hales took a bit of time to get himself in and then went into the zone that's given him so much success this season. Yet another fifty, yet more nonchalant six-hitting. He was nicely supported by Callum Ferguson at the other end. They'll sleep well tonight, unlike some of the team in tomorrow's triple-header. See you!

Worrall to Hales, FOUR runs

leg-side full toss again and he stands tall this time and places this whip between deep square and deep midwicket

Worrall to Hales, no run

full toss down leg side, looks to swish that behind square and completely mistimes it. Rolls out to the keeper

Worrall to Ferguson, 1 run

good length, slower ball outside off. Flicked to deep square

Worrall to Ferguson, 1 wide

bouncer dug in too short, left alone

Worrall to Hales, 1 run

good length, another slower ball at leg stump. Backs away and looks to push through cover, inside edge towards long-on

Worrall to Hales, 2 runs

short of deep midwicket. Slower length ball outside off, reaches out and drags that from way outside off. Doesn't get anywhere close to the fielder running in and to his right

Worrall to Ferguson, 1 run

Siddle to Hales, no run

yorker length at off stump, jammed out to mid-on

Siddle to Ferguson, 1 run

good length outside off, clears the front leg and pulls to deep midwicket's left

Siddle to Ferguson, FOUR runs

lifted over mid-off. Full and just outside off, clears the front leg and chopes from inside this

Siddle to Hales, 1 leg bye

yorker at leg stump, looks to tickle that past short fine, can't get it away

Siddle to Hales, no run

overpitched at off stump, makes room and drills straight to mid-off

Siddle to Hales, SIX runs

unreal! Backs away and flat-bats that over the extra cover boundary! Short of a length and angled into off stump. A couple of steps into the leg side to open up hitting room and then...boom. Nails it
