11.4 to TM Head, clipped off the pads in the air, and while it's timed nicely enough, it doesn't have the distance on it to clear square leg, who takes a straightforward catch. 94/3 19.5 to T Kelly, this one's smeared straight to Chris Green at long-on, and he doesn't mess this one up. Bowler went wide and Kelly couldn't get the power he needed at the end of his range. 182/6
3 | 0 | 28 | 1 | 9.33 | 9 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 0 | |
15.5 to IA Cockbain, tried to flat bat it over midwicket, a bit of an ungainly shot. Mistimes it and it flies to Jason Sangha at short third, who takes a simple catch. 146/4

4.3 to AT Carey, Sams atones for his earlier drop with a magnificent leaping catch on the deep midwicket boundary! Fullish length on middle and leg, slog sweeps this flat toward wide midwicket and Sams ranges left from cow corner, makes a leaping dive to clutch on over the shoulder at chest height and then gets up to fling the ball in a rage. He is still fuming about the previous drop but that catch will help him get back in the good books of his teammates.. 41/1 16.3 to JW Wells, cut short goes straight to backward point, where Cutting is in business! Takes a smart catch and Thunder have struck twice in two overs here. 151/5

10.4 to MW Short, tried to sweep across the line, but missed the delivery and found himself trapped plumb in front. 91/2 |

6.3 to UT Khawaja, full and wide, Khawaja charges and slices a drive that floats toward Fawad at short third man who dives forward and claims a catch. Khawaja stands his ground. Live, it looked like it short hopped him as he did an alligator roll tumbling sideways. Replays show the ball hitting the ground before going into Fawad's fingers. Fawad has his eyes closed and head turning sideways to avoid getting hit in case the ball bounced up and hit his body. Third umpire has ruled it out! Stunning! The crowd starts hissing boos. Khawaja is stunned and stone-faced walking off.. 56/2

19.4 to AI Ross, he's skied that, and despite Carey doing his best to dissuade him, Thornton takes a splendid catch. They didn't see each other and clatter into one another, but how cool was Thornton? Catches it, tosses it into the air, and signals out. They're both fine. 176/5 19.5 to BCJ Cutting, Cutting holes out to long-on, and Strikers can reach out and touch it It was in the slot to smash away for six, but for once, Cutting can't the power, putting Strikers' fate into their own hands. 176/6

2.1 to AD Hales, length ball on off, backs away from leg stump and tries to drive this on the up over mid-off but splices this in the air a few yards behind the ring. Siddle ranges to his left 20 yards and takes an easy catch in stride.. 15/1

16.2 to JJS Sangha, low full toss, and this time, Sangha doesn't get it out of the middle. Miscued to Jono Wells at long-on when it should have been smashed for six. Huge, huge wicket for the Strikers. 146/3 16.6 to DR Sams, that's plumb, or it looks that way. Yorker onto middle, and the umpire raises the finger. Sams goes off shaking his head, but unless it got an inside edge, that's a very obvious decision. 150/4
