With that, the rain starts falling hard and the Umpires take the players from the field. Hopefully this shower will blow through quickly soon.

Match State: Delay - Rain

4:50pm The rain seems to have settled in, it's not heavy but it is steadily coming down. The Knights will be the happier of the two team at this stage.

Looking at the DLS sheets, the Warriors needed to be on 72 at the end of the last over, so they are behind.

I will of course now turn into a weatherman for the next while and keep you updated on how much of it falls from the skies.

5:25pm Good news everyone, the rain has stopped and the groundstaff are starting to remove some of the covers. No news yet on when we are going to be restarting, or what the target will be.

Will update you on that when I get it.

Match State: Delay - Due to wet outfield

5:30pm and it's raining again, covers that were taken off are going back on.....

Match State: Delay - Rain

5:45pm It's still raining here, all the covers are on. The official cut off time is 7pm, although we have been losing overs since 5:15pm.

6:15pm I've got some bad news for you, the rain is still falling here and even if the rain stopped failing now, there is no chance in the ground being ready for play again before the 7:00pm cut off.

The Knights will be the happier of the two teams as they have completed a 12 run win on DLS. Picking up four precious IP50 points in the process.

Ruhan Pretorius has just been named the player of the match, for his excellent opening bowling display.

Sorry that the game has ended this way, although I hope that you can join me next Tuesday when the IP50's head to Eglinton at the start of the next round of games. Until then, this is Justin Smyth saying goodnight from Bready.
