Knights vs Reds, 6th Match at Belfast, INTER-PRO, May 15 2025 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Reds won by 6 wickets (with 60 balls remaining)
At the Innings break, the talk at the ground was that the Knights Innings felt a little under par, and boy did the Reds show that to be the case. It was a special Innings from Stephen Doheny today, and he drove the Reds to a six wicket win.
Supported by Suliman Safi, the Reds Innings kept their momentum going, something that the Knights Innings lacked. Which meant that they were never under any real pressure, reaching their target quick enough to pick up a bonus poin
The Knights spinners took the brunt of the attack, with Humphreys 10 overs going to 63, and Robertson's nine going for 89. Not a good day in the sun for either of them!
Two wins in a row means that the Reds will hit the mid-season break in second place in the table. Something to keep them in good spirits on the way back South down to Munster.
The next IP50 games will be in August, although it's only a couple of weeks until the IP20 festivals start. Hopefully you'll be able to join me then.
