Queensland vs Victoria, at Melbourne, Dec 02 2009 - Ball by Ball Commentary
That is an outstanding victory by Queensland. They looked under pressure at the 40 over mark of they're batting innings but a sensational partnership by Craig Philipson and Chris Simpson set the game up.
Queensland then backed it up with the ball. Victoria's guns in Rogers, Hussey and White all got starts but couldn't go on. Wade was brave but ultimately it wasn't enough.
Chris Simpson has been deservedly named man of the match. His 61 from 34 balls changed the game, and his 1 for 34 from 9 overs capped a wonderful contribution from the skipper. He truly led from the front tonight.
