35.5 to A Mohammed, Jhulan stands top of the tree now. She becomes the highest wicket-taker in Women's Cricket World Cup history. Some feat that. 40th wicket and she is more relieved than anything else. Chipped straight up and mid-wicket goes back to catch and tumbles down. A standing ovation for one of India's greatest ever. 155/8

15.2 to Kycia A Knight, straight to long-leg. Expertly found by Kycia Knight. Short on the pads, she hits the pull well but couldn't have picked Mandhana any better even if she had tried. West Indies lose two in quick succession and the Indians have a spring in their step. Mandhana was the only fielder in the deep and Kycia finds her. Meghna fist-pumps in delight. 108/2 17.4 to SR Taylor, thin edge and Taylor is gone. Late outswing for Meghna, Taylor pushes forward to defend and the ball snicks the bat to go to the keeper. The horror run of Taylor continues, she can't seem to get runs at the moment. India now right on top. 112/3

23.2 to CA Henry, Given out LBW and Henry reviews. But this looks plumb. Let's see. No bat and UltraEdge shows a flat line. Impact and wickets are umpire's call and Henry has to walk back. It looked plumb to the naked eye as Henry leant forward to defend, misses but the impact is just around off and also it is clipping the top of the bails. Henry was reluctant to take the review, but did and does not lose it. Since the onfield decision was out, it stays out. 134/6

22.2 to SA Campbelle, good catch at backward point. Vastrakar punches the air in delight. Full outside off, Campbelle can't keep the square drive down and it's wobbling as it comes towards Gayakwad, she moves forward and takes it with both hands, before tumbling forward to complete the catch. This match is going only one way now. India will be eyeing a big win here. 127/5
9.3 | 1 | 22 | 3 | 2.31 | 41 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
12.2 to DJS Dottin, Sweep balloons to short fine-leg It was a full ball on leg-stump. Dottin tried the hard sweep but managed to get only a top-edge. The fielder took it comfortably and Sneh celebrates. Dottin is distraught but she's played her part in setting up an entertaining, effective chase. 100/1 18.2 to HK Matthews, clear edge and gone! Matthews falls and India celebrate wildly. Too full to be cutting off the back foot, Matthews though tries it and edges it behind. Good catch by Richa too, straight and clean into the gloves. Matthews walks back disappointed even as the Indians crowd around Rana. 114/4 40.3 to SS Connell, all over! Sneh Rana finishes it off. India win by 155 runs. Pushed through flat on the stumps, Connell flicks but the leading-edge goes straight up, Rana calls for it and takes it near short mid-wicket. Hugs and congrats all around. The Indians are all smiles. 162/10 |
