Zimbabwe needed a four off the last delivery to win it today. Here's a look at five ODIs that were decided by final-ball boundaries.

4.30pm Superb finish. A sensational match, India defend 138 to end up victors of the T20 series 2-1. 21 off the last over, Sran lost his head and his line but came back to keep Zimbabwe's batsmen in check. India had just enough in the end, it seemed, to get over the line. Zimbabwe got a strong start to their chase, but fell away in the middle with some limp batting. Even with a late surge, it wasn't enough.

Presentation time.

Barinder Sran is the Man of the Series: "21 runs is a lot for the final over. i was confident we were going to win. Started with a different plan but then changed."

Kedar Jadhav is the Man of the Match

Graeme Cremer: "Disappointing, but happy with the way the guys fought. One-day series was a tough beating. Nice to get a few more games. If we carry on playing, we'll get better."

MS Dhoni: "usually in this format, the games get close. Zimbabwe did well, bowled well. They need more games to get better. Difficult one, we did what was right to put in the opposition (in the ODIs). Right way to play cricket. Fast bowling department, we need a good pool of players. Now we can proudly say we have 10-12 players who can play. Important to turn up for India. Personally I feel we got more from the T20s than the ODIs.

Barinder Sran to Chigumbura, OUT

taken and India have won. What a game. Low full toss outside off, Chigumbura toe-ends it to cover and Chahal takes the catch in front of him. India win the series 2-1.

Not long ago Dhoni needed four off one ball. Chigs' turn. What is Sran going to do

19.5
4
Barinder Sran to Chigumbura, FOUR runs

they get one. Full and wide outside off, Chigs comes down and has a nice, old, swing at it and gets a thick outside edge. Third man is up and that will be four

8 off 2, Zimbabwe need a boundary. India don't

1
Barinder Sran to Maruma, 1 run

excellent bowling. Predictable line but Maruma can only jam it away into the off side for a run. Really good bowling

Chigs walks down to chat with his partner

19.3
Barinder Sran to Maruma, no run

another wide yorker outside off, just inside the tramline. Maruma misses another. Marginal, but the right call.

19.2
Barinder Sran to Maruma, no run

oh, excellent comeback. Wide yorker and Maruma cannot get anything. Great bowling

Free hit coming up

Barinder Sran to Maruma, (no ball) FOUR runs

over cover and that will be four. Very high full toss outside off, Maruma slaps the ball over cover. And a no ball is called. Over waist. Got sufficient behind that to clear cover.

19.2
1w
Barinder Sran to Maruma, 1 wide

very very very wide outside off. Maruma gets low to play the scoop but the ball is way too wide outside off. Did not land on the strip.

Dhoni and Sran have a chat. Full and wide? Maruma has to anticipate the line. Sran comes over the wicket

19.1
6
Barinder Sran to Maruma, SIX runs

six to start the over. Full on off from Sran, Maruma picks the length, and slogs/heaves/mows (who cares) over midwicket. Enough behind it and way over midwicket. What a start

Right then, last over of the tour. Zimbabwe have left themselves with way too much to do. Sran will finish. Dhoni needs some eye drops

1
Bumrah to Maruma, 1 run

full outside off, mis-timed to long-on. Just the one. Makes the equation much harder for Zim now.

18.5
Bumrah to Maruma, no run

excellent delivery. A wide yorker and all Maruma can do is squeeze it out, back to the bowler. Dot.

Zimbabwe still well behind this. Need more runs from this over. Many more.

Rajanand: "The most important over of the T-20 Series :)"

18.4
6
Bumrah to Maruma, SIX runs

there is one. A predictable length, shortish on middle and leg. Maruma backs away and slogs it way over midwicket. Fantastic shot. Just enough behind that to clear the boundary

Zimbabwe need at least one boundary in the next three balls

18.3
2
Bumrah to Maruma, 2 runs

terrible timing again. Hitting that back of a length down leg, swatted over midwicket for a couple.

18.2
1
Bumrah to Chigumbura, 1 run

back of a length on leg, Chigs backs away and looks to clear the midwicket boundary, but slaps to long-on for a run. On the bounce to the fielder

Rohan: "How important was Axar's six in the last over of Indian innings.. That shot might well be the difference between these teams."

18.1
1
Bumrah to Maruma, 1 run

good length on off, mis-timed to long-on. Could get nothing substantial behind that

Very tough now for Zimbabwe

excellent end. Awesome bowling. Wide yorker outside off. Chigumbura can't reach it. Left alone and the over is bowled.

1
Kulkarni to Maruma, 1 run

slower ball outside off, tapped to point. Just one

17.4
Kulkarni to Maruma, no run

good length outside off, Maruma stands in his crease but misses his slog. Bounces in front of Dhoni, dot

17.3
1lb
Kulkarni to Chigumbura, 1 leg bye

slower ball on leg, bouncer. Chigs is through his pull too early and the ball pings into his helmet. A scampered leg bye, head bye

17.2
1
Kulkarni to Maruma, 1 run

back of a length on off, honing in on off. Maruma shuffles across to flick to midwicket. Just one

17.1
W
Kulkarni to Waller, OUT

taken. Big wicket. Waller goes. And India have a wicket. Back of a length on off, Waller backs away, tries to steer he ball over short third man but doesn't get the elevation. Bumrah leaps over his head and clings onto a tough chance.
