We now know one of the teams in both Qualifier 1 and the eliminator? RCB have the chance to join PBKS by beating LSG tomorrow, but a loss would let GT through. Join us tomorrow to find out how that goes. Thanks for joining tonight. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, Ashish Pant, and our scorers, Venkat Raghav and Chandan Duorah.

Josh Inglis, POTM: (P'ship with Priyansh) The left-right combo helped, with the short boundary. We targeted that, played smart cricket, picking up match-ups and balls. Would've been nice for one of us to be at the end. Happy we got home. I've faced a lot of Santner, we know how each other operates, a cat and mouse with the short boundary. But he's great. I don't have to say much to Priyansh, really nice batting with him. I don't think Shreyas is too happy about that but I am (Shreyas' position). Tonight, I felt I could build an innings after a few shorts. I haven't got the power of the other guys, have to pick gaps which

Shreyas Iyer, PBKS captain: Every individual stepped up at the right time. Starting from game one, we've been in the mindset of wanting to win despite the situation. We've had players putting their hands up when we were in the dumps. Kudos to support staff and management too. Ricky has been fantastic with player management, it's important for me to get trust too. That happened with the wins early on. Had conversations with them too. You have to maintain good relationships throughout. I feel the dressing room has been top notch throughout. (Playing six uncapped players) The way Priyansh started was fabulous, young players are fearless. They tick the boxes in the nets, the effects of the prep is now showing on the field. Inglis is the only player whose position has been chopping and changing. Since he loves playing the new ball, I wanted him to play more deliveries. It worked wonders. We know he's destructive and a big-match player with great attitude. The camaraderie has been there for the past few years between Ricky and I, he gives me a lot of freedom. I tell him to do the thinking from the outside and then I execute on the field.

Ricky Ponting, PBKS coach: Very pleased, lot of hard work goes into achieving this. Starts from the auction, big thing for me was to come to a new franchise and make a difference straightaway. It's obvious to see that it's a quality team, heading in the same direction. We haven't done anything yet, that's what I've been telling players, the big games are to come. Prabhsimran is 23-24 and has got 500 runs, I said maybe four or five games in that Priyansh is one of the finds of the tournament. Hard to argue with now. Fearless young talent seeing and hitting the ball. Overseas players - Inglis, Stoinis have been great. Shreyas has been outstanding. We're a happy group, enjoyed each other's company ten weeks, got one more to go. Pretty obvious I was keen to work with Shreyas considering how much I spent at the auction. We had a good working relationship in Delhi. I've known him from a long time. He's a quality person. It's what you need when you need to form a culture. Arshdeep's great, Chahal should be back. If you speak to players individually, they'll give Shreyas a good rap. We'll celebrate tonight, we've done that after every game apart from the last one due to the short turnaround. Got a late afternoon flight tomorrow, we'll work out where our training slots fit. We'll rest players up. Jansen is a high-quality individual, tough to replace him. Got Jamieson in tonight to ensure he got a game before Marco left. Every team's missing players, we'd like to think we've got good depth and be able to cover for Marco despite it being a big miss.

Hardik Pandya, MI captain: The way the wicket played, we were 20 runs short. Happens. We've been playing good cricket but didn't tonight, that cost us. We've won five trophies, it's always been tough. If you take the foot off the accelerator, other teams take over. The message would be simple: this is a small blip, learn from it and look forward to the knockout. It's still fresh, will identify issues later. Our batting needed to capitalise to get 20 more though. (Karn as impact sub?) Not really, we back Ashwani. Don't think there was much difference in the pitch between the innings. Our bowling wasn't clinical, they played good shots as well. Just want to play good cricket going forward, figure out the right template for the batting group. Not much panic though, we knew what was at stake. Nothing changes from the situation four days ago that we find ourselves back in.

11:18pm: PBKS entering the playoffs for the first time since 2014 and they do it in style. MI have never won the title after finishing third or fourth (they've won 5 out of 6 after finishing in the top-two). Their poor record at Jaipur continues too. The chase was one-sided with Priyansh getting going. Prabhsimran wasn't fluent but helped set up the powerplay nicely. A promotion to Inglis at No. 3 was taken with both hands. He took apart MI's best bowlers and was aggressive against Santner too. PBKS' pacers got assistance from slower ones but MI didn't. Their lengths not being precise didn't help either. The game was effectively over rather early.

Santner to Inglis, OUT

Lbw turned down, Santner motions for a review. Hardik agrees. Height and line could be issues. Was a shortish ball angling in, beat Inglis' paddle with bat going down to up. Hit just over the knee-roll. It landed just outside off, stuck him in front of middle... and would go on to smash leg actually! Inglis punches his bat in disappointment but gets a lot of applause from team-mates and owners
