12:00pm Bad news I'm afraid, it's still raining here in Dublin and even if the rain does stop, there is no chance in getting the ground ready in time for the cut off. Which means sadly that we have an abandoned game.

With the points being shared between the two teams, it means that the Knights now have an unassailable lead at the top of the table and have now been crowned champions. The Knights players are all celebrating here, so congratulations to them. Lets hope that the weather clears up for the second game of the day. Hopefully you'll be able to join me then.

10:50am The Umpires have been out to have a look at the ground. The result is that they are going to have another look in an hours time. The Groundstaff have said that it's going to take an hour to get the ground ready once it stops raining. The cut off to get a five over match in is 1.47pm. We still have hope....

10:15am Welcome everyone to day two of the Rario Cricket Ireland Interprovincial IP20 festival here in Dublin. It's Justin Smyth here again, and I'm going to be bringing you ball by ball coverage of this game between the Munster Reds and the Northern Knights. After yesterdays games, the Knights are only a point away from clinching the title, will we see history made this morning?

The Knights were very impressive with the ball yesterday, with the left arm spin twins of Matthew Humphreys and Theo van Woerkom taking the North West Warriors apart. Sharing Eight wickets between them. With the Warriors only scoring 78 runs, there was a few wobbles from the Knights before Neil Rock, the most impressive player in the Interpro's this year so far, steadied the Innings and took them to victory. Today Rock hands the captain's armband back to Mark Adair

The Reds batting let them down yesterday, with only three of their players able to make it into double figures, and they still managed to score 167 for 6. Yet the Leinster Lightning batters showed how under par a target that was as they chased down the target with 29 balls to spare. There should be at least one change to their team today as Cian Egerton injured his right shoulder as he dived to save a boundary and he left the ground in a sling.

The bad news is that there has been a lot of heavy rain over night and it's still raining here this morning. The covers are firmly on out in the middle and only the seagulls are wandering arouns the outfield. There is light rain still falling, although according to the weather forecasts, it should be ending soon. Pembroke is a fast drying ground, so fingers crossed we can get some play today. I'll give you an update on the chances of play when I get them.
