9.5 to MDKJ Perera, fullish length on fifth stunmp, Perera charges down the pitch but is beaten in flight, doesn't middle the shot and it slices in the air like a shanked wedge and Gunathilaka does extremely well to adjust after running left, then reaches across his body to the right and plucks this out at rib height. 9/10 on difficulty and he claimed it well. It may have looked straightforward but the slice away on that ball through the air was wicked!. 97/2 11.3 to BKG Mendis, Afridi in the action plenty this over! Sandakan floats this up to encourage a meaty slog, but Mendis picks out Afridi at midwicket in the ring again, never had to move and takes it ever so casually standing upright at waist height despite the searing pace on the ball off the bat.. 106/3 | ||||||||||
