He tries to back away and carve it over point but the extra pace means that he can only feather it through to the keeper! Smith is elated, and why shouldn't he be! This is a massive scalp!. 49/1 14.2 to SD Hope, skies it this time, and taken at deep mid wicket! Banged into the track and this one, much like the ball that got Fakhar, gets big on Hope. 5.2 to Mirza Baig, in the air, and taken! Slowed up a touch on a length on middle and leg stump. Baig looks to go downtown but loses his shape completely this time. He has to reach out for it and skews it off the toe-end. Guptill settles himself at mid on and completes the catch!. 62/2 | ||||||||||

11.2 to Kamran Ghulam, stumped by a mile! Full delivery outside off stump that grips and spins. Ghulam comes down the track without really watching the ball, and then compounds his woes by having a wild slog at it. He misses the ball by quite some distance and is then stumped by an even bigger margin!. 118/3 15.3 to Hussain Talat, gone this time! Given a bit of air on a full length outside off stump, and Talat's eyes light up. He looks to go over long off but does not quite get the elevation he desires. In fact, the ball arrows off the toe end of the bat and Roy does well at long off to time his jump and gobble up the chance!. 156/5 | ||||||||||

0.4 to Abdul Bangalzai, huge appeal, and given! Yorker on middle and leg stump that curves into the batter very late. Bangalzai does not pick it up until the last moment and has a hurried stab at it. By then, though, the ball has crashed into his boot and the umpire, after giving it a bit of thought, raises his finger! There is no bat involved, and Ball Tracking shows that the ball would have thumped into leg stump! Shaheen gets the early breakthrough! . 5/1 16.6 to OF Smith, Shaheen has another! Slower delivery on a full length outside off stump. Smith is done in by the lack of pace and is at least a week early into the stroke. In the end, he just spoons it straight to extra cover! This is high-quality bowling by the Qalandars, and of course, their skipper!. 112/7 18.5 to Qais Ahmad, gone this time! Angled into the batter at the stumps and this one, for a change, lands on the pitch. Qais continues swinging but can't get under it enough. Back of a length delivery outside off stump that seems to stick in the pitch just a shade. The ball also bounces a tad extra, meaning that Iftikhar gets elevation but not the distance. Fakhar settles himself at long on, and pouches it!. 93/4 14.3 to Mohammad Hafeez, Hafeez bites the dust! Slower delivery on a full length on off stump. Hafeez finally decides that he wants to attack, and he perishes. Does not pick the slower ball and swings too early, toe-ending it miles up into the air. Nawaz has no option but to swing and is slightly early into the stroke. Like Iftikhar, he gets the elevation but nowhere near enough distance.
