Hope you enjoyed our coverage. We'll see you super soon for more cricket. For now, it's goodbye and goodnight from Rvel Zahid.

Multan Sultans were exceptional tonight; there was a stark contrast in both teams' bowling attacks. Usman Khan annihilated Shaheen Afridi and company and scored a marvelous 96-run innings that helped them post an impregnable score. Mohammad Rizwan has been leading the team superbly, showing his brilliant leadership abilities and tactical acumen. It looks like a well-gelled, happy team which enjoys each other's success. We saw how the young leggie Faisal Akram thrived in that conducive environment and picked two wickets on his PSL debut. Usama Mir then picked six wickets as Lahore Qalandars attempted to get closer to the target, and in the process, gave catches to the fielders. Lahore knew they had to press on the gas pedal right from the word go, but after losing both openers and then the introduction of spin, the contest turned into a one-way traffic. Qalandars' bowling attack lacked discipline as they gifted too many freebies and Multan showed their hunger to win and were absolutely clinical in all departments of the game. As a result of the win, Multan Sultans have tightened their grip at the top of the table with 10 points and Lahore Qalandars are yet to get off the mark after suffering their sixth loss on the bounce

Pitched up wide of off, punched firmly but Faisal makes a superb diving stop at cover inside the ring

Saqib: "Hello @cricinfo, why is David Wiese not playing? Injured?" He has a calf injury

Usama Mir to Salman Fayyaz, OUT

Tremendous riposte from Usama Mir, sleight of hand befuddles him, it's a beautiful quicker one fuller outside off, loses his shape as he tries to hoist him for six, Rizwan gobbles it up gleefully at cover, tumbled but made sure it doesn't fluffs, fifer for Usama

That is a proper wallop! In his hitting arc, full at middle, down on the knee and clobbered with insolence way over deep midwicket, that left a dent!

Castled! Zingers are alight Goes for a slog sweep and plays down the wrong line, going for a big hit without sizing up Usama at all and duly perishes. The dreadful rattle means he has to go back to the dressing room. He is on a hattrick!

Usama Mir to Linde, OUT

Multan are hungry for wickets and want to finish this as early as possible. Tossed up a googly on a length wide of off, tries to cut and edges it to Usman Khan - the keeper. Geroge Linde's short stay at the crease comes to end. He was guessing which way the ball's going to spin. Vicious fist-pump and a very loud scream.

Rahat: "Qalandars performance is at par with Englands performance in 2023 CWCDefending champions with too much hype"

Hasnain : "Shaheen's decision making has really been questionable this season. Why would you send linde over Jahandad and Braithwaite. Same happened against Zalmi "

Usama Mir to van der Dussen, OUT

Zips it quicker on a length and it skids through the surface at middle stump line, Dussen yanks his front leg out of the way and pumps it in the air, Rizwan, in the outfield, at deep midwicket takes a fabulous catch, nice to see Rizwan showing his stellar fielding skills without the gloves tonight. Lahore should think about shaking hands already, they're going nowhere at the moment, succumbing under the scoreboard pressure and losing wickets like leaves falling off a tree in autumn
