Silk, Wells steer Tasmania to victory

Jordan Silk and Jonathan Wells delivered a comfortable eight-wicket win for Tasmania early on the fourth day of their Sheffield Shield clash with Victoria at Bellerive Oval. Set 200 for victory, the Tigers began the final day at 2 for 154 and moved along with ease to their target without any further loss of wickets.

Silk finished unbeaten on 97 and Wells was on 47 when the victory was confirmed, lifting Tasmania off the bottom of the Shield table after two rounds.
