6.11pm And that is that, after a thrillingly bonkers game at Trent Bridge. Suzie Bates was the player (hero?) of the match, but how good was Alana King? I thought she could have got the award, even though the Rockets lost. What do I know, though? Anyway, we're off for tonight. We hope you've enjoyed our coverage. Until next time, goodbye!

Suzie Bates is the player of the match: "We probably let it get a little too close, but the way we started allowed us to soak up pressure from the spinners through the middle overs, and Marizanne Kapp was outstanding. The way Capsey attacks the bowling, it makes it easier for me. I don't tell her too much, I don't want to interfere with her instincts. Really pleased [to restrict the Rockets]. I thought the ball was skidding on, it wasn't easy to bat, and out bowlers did really well."

6.06pm This game should never have stretched this far, but the Trent Rockets have done outstandingly well with the ball to almost defend a modest total of 112. Sarah Glenn picked up the key wickets of Alice Capsey and Suzie Bates, and then the world-class Alana King bowled 10 straight dot balls at Marizanne Kapp. But if you're Marizanne Kapp, you soak up all that pressure and come out the other end with an unbeaten 34 off 27. Superb innings in the circumstances, and the Invincibles now have two wins from three games.

Smith to Kapp, FOUR runs

wow. Only two fielders back, but Kapp has found the gap between the two of them. Super shot to finish. A bit of air on this, and that gives Kapp the time to stretch out, get down low, and sweep powerfully over midwicket in the circle, and bisect long-on and deep midwicket

Long-on and deep midwicket are back. Looks like everyone else is up saving the single.

98
1
Smith to White, 1 run

and she finds a single. Shortish outside off, and she leans back and chops it towards backward point

The Invincibles need 3 off 3 now. Wow. Kirstie White to face Smith, who is proving unhittable at the moment.

97
W
Smith to Chathli, OUT

she survived the first ball, but not this one! It's all happening at Trent Bridge! Flat offbreak outside off, and she shuffles across, goes hard at the sweep, and only manages to drag it back into the stumps off the bottom edge. What a game!

Kira Chathli b Smith 0 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

Smith to Chathli, no run

big appeal for a stumping, and it's going upstairs! Floated wide of off stump, and Chathli reaches out to try and slap it away. She misses, and ends up dragging her back foot out of the crease, but it looks like she's just planted it back in time

And Smith will keep hold of the ball to finish the innings.

95
Smith to Chathli, no run

pressure... Flat, back of a length, skids on and beats the attempted cut

94
Smith to Chathli, no run

the field is mostly in, and Chathli finds square leg with a firm sweep from outside off stump

Kira Chathli comes in with the Invincibles needing just three more.

93
W
Smith to Villiers, OUT

steps out to the flighted ball outside off, and Villiers fails to get any sort of proper connection on this lofted hit. Mid-off was in the circle, but all she manages to do is scoop the ball in the air and offer her a simple catch. didn't quite get to the pitch of the ball, and ended up having to reach for it

Mady Villiers c Glenn b Smith 6 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR: 60
92
1
Smith to Kapp, 1 run

flat length ball speared in towards off stump, barely any turn. Punched to long-on

91
1
Smith to Villiers, 1 run

shortish outside off, swiped to deep square leg

After those 10 high-pressure balls from King, Kapp has simply got back to her nerveless best. Bryony Smith comes back on now.

full, close to off stump, makes a bit of room and drills a wristy drive straight to the fielder at backward point

89
Nat Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, no run

slower short ball, through the pull too early and is hit on the back

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, FOUR runs

outstanding. Even better shot. On the fuller side of a length, angling into the stumps, and she steps forward, with her front foot slightly away from the line of the ball, allowing her to bring her bat down in a beautiful straight arc and punch it back over the ducking umpire's head

87
4
Nat Sciver-Brunt to Kapp, FOUR runs

shot! Just a touch short from Sciver, angling into the stumps, and Kapp picked up the length in a flash to pull it over the fielder at midwicket

86
1
Nat Sciver-Brunt to Villiers, 1 run

fullish, angling into leg stump, clipped to deep square leg

Good finish from Brunt. Sciver to bowl her third now, with 14 needed off 15.

sees Villiers looking to make room, and digs it short, into the pitch, outside off stump. Gets it to bounce steeply and beat the attempted reach-out-and-slash

length ball attacking the stumps. Looks to flick, gets an inside edge into her front pad
