Scorecard India Under-19s beat Papua New Guinea Under-19s comfortably in a low-scoring game at the Tracy Village Oval in Darwin. Being asked to bat first, India's line-up, apart from captain Vijay Zol, was not able to produce any innings of note. Zol, opening the innings, knocked off 48 off 46. Eventually he was the only batsmen in the entire match to cross 16. India stumbled to 136 in 43.1 overs, Sakavai Gebai being the most effective of the PNG bowlers with figures of 9.1-0-26-4. PNG's batsmen were even more troubled than India's, with only two partnerships making it to double-digits in the chase; the biggest stand of the innings came for the tenth wicket - a mere 13 runs. India breezed to a 71-run victory, as PNG were bowled out for 65 in the 37th over.
