2.2 to JM Vince, he's snicked him behind. The drop doesn't cost Overton as he bowls a back of length one in the channel, and Vince can't quite connect with the cut - feet static - and gets a thin edge to the keeper.. 8/2
4 | 0 | 34 | 4 | 8.50 | 11 | 2 | 2 | 0 | 1 | |
1.6 to TE Albert, he's scooped it straight to the keeper. Had to manufacture something with runs not coming, moved well across his stumps to a fuller one on off, got into decent position to scoop it but didn't connect well enough and it only goes straight to the keeper.. 8/1 3.6 to TJ Prest, gone through him. Peach of a ball, jagged in off a length, and zipped through the gap between bat and pad as he was looking to drive. Takes out off stump.. 26/3 18.3 to CP Wood, one shot too many! Full and straight, hint of shape back into Wood's ambitious wipe across the line, and back goes his middle stump. Still, 18 from six has got Hampshire moving at the right moment. 133/7 18.5 to SW Currie, yorker! Currie plays all around it, shaping in all the time, dipping under his bat as he aims rather loosely to leg, and Somerset are surging back now. 133/8

4 | 0 | 21 | 1 | 5.25 | 9 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
12.1 to LD McManus, extra bounce on the full length, and a thin top-edge to the keeper! McManus rocked back for the cut, the ball got big on him, and Banton clings on well once again, a busy time for him behind the sticks. 80/5
1 | 0 | 4 | 1 | 4.00 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
9.6 to LA Dawson, bowled him. Full ball tailing in, the changes of pace have worked for green as Dawson looking to flick through the legside is almost yorked and loses his stumps.. 65/4
4 | 0 | 42 | 1 | 10.50 | 7 | 1 | 4 | 1 | 0 | |
19.5 to JJ Weatherley, right underneath the swipe to leg, the right shot, but not quite nailed this time. More height than distance, and that plops into the hands of deep midwicket. 149/9 |

5.3 to WCF Smeed, and now he charges down and slaps it straight to mid-off. Came off the toe-end of the bat, no timing at all on it. Smeed was feeling the pressure of the dots mounting, tried to give the charge, but ends up holing out.. 29/3 18.5 to BGF Green, dragged from outside off... and holes out to long on! Better from Wood, round the wicket, forcing Green to reach for the ball, and he couldn't quite get enough on it. But still... it's back on now!. 139/8

3.2 to T Banton, he's picked out deep midwicket. Made good connection with that as he walked across and flicks in the air, but it's a longish boundary there. The man in the deep is stationed perfectly and holds on, even though he almost spilled it and had to juggle. 15/1

4.3 to RE van der Merwe, caught by mid-on diving forward. Captain James Vince there. Slower ball, he's looking to lift this over mid-on but ends up chipping it to him. They've gone upstairs to check if it's a legal catch, looked good in real-time and the soft signal is out too. And out it stays. Roelof was on his way at the start, he knew it was clean. Good catch, was dying on Vince but he did well to get hands underneath it, diving forward.. 19/2 16.4 to TB Abell, Huge swing... but straight to deep midwicket! A big wind-up, it had to go, but the cutter gripped just enough to confound Abell's intentions. Fuller steadies himself well, and now Hampshire believe!. 103/7
4 | 0 | 27 | 1 | 6.75 | 7 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
6.5 to TA Lammonby, trapped him in front first ball and Somerset are completely unravelling. Nicely tossed up, drifts a mite to pitch on off and then spins in a tad. Lammonby is pushing forward to defend but the spin is enough to beat his bat and strike pad, right in front.. 34/5
4 | 0 | 28 | 1 | 7.00 | 6 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
13.4 to L Gregory, skids on quicker, and back goes the leg stump! Gregory wound up for a slap to leg, but the ball followed him on length and pace, and that's the riposte Hampshire wanted!. 79/6 |
