Peter Cantrell, the Netherlands coach, has named a 13-man squad for the two ODIs against Sri Lanka which relies largely on tried and trusted players, although he has included 16-year-old Alexei Kervezee in the side.
Kervezee was born in Namibia and made his debut for Netherlands in the ICC Intercontinental Cup last July when only 15. he has been a regular in the side since.
Cantrell has been able to chose from all those available, although Essex all-rounder Ryan ten Doeschate will only be able to play in the first game.
Netherlands defeated a strong MCC side last week, and two of the stars of that game have been called up. Eric Szwarczynski, who made a hundred for the A-team against MCC, is set to make his ODI debut, while allrounder Peter Borren, who made 85 in that match, is also in the squad.
