In the 17th Wills Cup 1997-98 One Day Tournament the following rules shall apply:- 1

In the 17th Wills Cup 1997-98 One Day Tournament the following rules shall apply:-
1. Lunch interval shall be limited to 45 minutes. In case the innings ends within 30 minutes of the scheduled time for the lunch interval, the interval will commence at that time and be limited to 45 minutes. On the other hand if the innings ends before 30 minutes of the scheduled time then the 2nd Innings will resume after 10 minutes break till the scheduled lunch interval.
2. There shall only be 1 extra run for each Wide ball bowled during the matches and not 2 runs as in the case of No Ball.
The above rules shall apply with immediate effect in all the matches of the tournament.
