Australia moved to the verge of victory on day three of the first Test in Brisbane on Saturday and barring miracles, they will surely wrap things up on day four.
Chasing 327 for victory, New Zealand faltered to 143-6 at the end of day three and getting the remaining 184 will surely be beyond them.
Bet365 make Australia 1/100 to go on to win it, while New Zealand are now 18/1 and the draw is a 150/1 chance.
If New Zealand are to pull off a remarkable win, then they will need Ross Taylor and Daniel Vettori to stay there almost to the end. Taylor, who has 67 to his name, is 5/6 to go on to 89 or better, while Vettori, who has yet to face a ball, is the same price to make 18 or more.
For the record, the highest fourth-innings score ever achieved for victory at the Gabba is just 236, way back in 1950.
