South African captain Adam Bacher put in a fine all round performance to lead his team to a 4-wicket win over Australia in Ashdod on Wednesday. India were no match for Great Britain, being bowled out for just 60 runs, and losing by 10 wickets.
Asked to bat first, Australia made a solid start, with openers Jonathan Weinstock (57) and Daniel Kave (37) adding 94 for the first wicket. However their scoring rate was too slow, and just when they may have been thinking about accelerating, Bacher entered the attack to bring an almost total halt to the scoring, taking 3 for 15 in 8 overs.

Chasing 197 to win, the South African top order once again failed, with only Craig Lyons (45) getting amongst the runs. However Bacher showed his class, scoring a fine 82 to seal the win for South Africa with 4 wickets and 19 overs in hand.
Darren Gerrard took 4 for 19 and Richard Reggel 3 for 7 as India were rolled over for 60, with Elijah David (16) the only batsman to reach double figures. In reply, Lawrence Bensusan (30*) and Alex Haffner (16*) knocked off the target in just 7 overs, giving Great Britain a resounding victory.
