Background on ACB anti-corruption initiatives
Since adopting all the recommendations of the O?Regan Inquiry on 24 February 1999, the ACB has established a comprehensive and pro-active process to work against corruption in cricket
- induction sessions for Australian Under 19 players;
- induction sessions for all senior Australian players;
- a code of conduct agreed to by the players dealing specifically with the issue;
- specific obligations under players? contracts;
- regular briefing sessions from the administration to the team;
- mandatory reporting of any suspicious event; and
- regular compulsory reports from Team Management dealing specifically with this issue.

- to adopt the stringent ICC penalties;
- to initiate a major sports gambling round table;
- to expand current education program; and
- to have players and officials sign written undertakings before each series.
