BCCSL Statement Regarding Mr. Darryl Foster

The Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka wishes to clarify reports regarding the reimbursement of the cost of an airline ticket to its Consultant Coaching, Mr. Darryl Foster.

The BCCSL had provided a Business Class return air ticket to Mr. Foster from London-Colombo-Singapore-Perth. However, as Mr. Foster was reluctant to stop over in Colombo, he had purchased an Economy Class ticket from London to Singapore and requested the BCCSL to meet the cost of upgrading him to Business Class, of approximately US $ 1,000.

As the BCCSL was unable to make use of the Business Class ticket already purchased, Mr. Foster's request was declined.

Mr. Foster has not ended his contract with the BCCSL, which is up to the end of the 3rd Test in England
