WA's second Xl, the BGC WA 'A' side, plays its first match of the 2000-2001 ACB Cup against New South Wales at the WACA Ground next week

WA's second Xl, the BGC WA 'A' side, plays its first match of the 2000-2001 ACB Cup against New South Wales at the WACA Ground next week.
Wicket-keeper Mark Walsh will lead the side from Monday, 23 October to Thursday, 26 October 2000.
The side contains nine current Western Warriors squad members including Walsh, Michael Dighton, David Hussey, Stuart Karpinnen, Shaun Marsh, Steve Nikitaras, Marcus North, Chris Rogers and Darren Wates.
BGC WA 'A' side: Mark Walsh (captain, Willetton), David Bandy (Scarborough), Michael Dighton (Scarborough), David Hussey (Wanneroo), Stuart Karpinnen (South Perth), Shaun Marsh (Willetton), Scott Meuleman (Melville), Steve Nikitaras (Perth), Marcus North (Bayswater-Morley), Chris Rogers (University), Michael Thistle (Bayswater-Morley), Darren Wates (South Perth), Paul Terry (coach).
New South Wales Second XI: Shawn Bradstreet (captain), Matthew Betsey, Nathan Bracken, Anthony Clark, Stuart Clark, Simon Cook, Mark Higgs, Greg Mail, Matthew Phelps, Graeme Rummans, Brett Van Deinsen, Trevor Bayliss (coach), John Benaud (manager).
Hours of play: 10:30am - 12:30pm, 1:10pm - 3:10pm, 3:30pm - 5:30pm. Umpires: Andrew Craig, Bruce Bennett.
