TEST CLAIMS
Ian Botham gave a timely reminder to England's selectors by
scoring a brilliant hundred in Durham's game with Worcestershire
at Stockton.
The veteran all rounder hammered 18 fours in his 101 to boost
his hopes of a Test recall.
But Kent paceman Alan Igglesden saw his hopes of a place in
Thursday's third Test at Trent Bridge when he suffered a back
strain.
He broke down after taking two Yorkshire wickets on the third
day of their Championship clash.
