Canada will be embarking on a tour to the Carribean in April of 1996, to participate in the Atlantic Cup tournament, along with host country Barbados and visiting countries Bermuda and USA

Canada will be embarking on a tour to the Carribean in April of
1996, to participate in the Atlantic Cup tournament, along with
host country Barbados and visiting countries Bermuda and USA.
Sir Gary Sobers, who is part of the Barbados Tourism Board, extended the invitation to the North American countries, with the
goal of exposing the talents and skill of the palyers.
This will give the Canadian players an exposure to first class
competition,and to start planning for the ICC trophy in 1997.
A short list of 20 players will be announced in early 1996 and
training will most likely start shortly thereafter.
