1. The Mullaitivu camp is already in operations and some of the affected people have already been shifted from the Dambulla camp. The Mullaitivu camp is operated by SLC Dambulla centre.
2. The Green Cross Assistance Program (GCA), part of Florida State University's Academy of Traumatology, is conducting a five-day programme from 17th to 21st January 2005. Organized by Cricket-Aid, to train Sports Oriented People in Counseling Tsunami Survivors.

- David Tredrea - Green Cross Team Leader Front-line trauma specialist, Fellow Royal Society of Medicine, Field Traumatologist, Green Cross Foundation, based in London, U.K.
3. Mahela Jayawardena, Kumar Sangakkara, Muttiah Muralitharan and Nuwan Zoysa visited some of the affected areas of Galle, Matara, and Hambantota on 15th and 16th of January 2005.
4. Cricket-Aid Committee visited Ampara, and met Officials to set up a `Cricket Village' in Potuvill. A land consisting of 60 acres have been identified in the area of Pansalgoda, Lahugala Divisional Secretariat. The committee also discussed with officials in Arugambay to re-build the Sinhapura Vidiyalaya and offered other facilities to the school.
